Joint Master’s Programme in English and American Studies
The department of English Studies at the University Paris Diderot has put in place, along with a consortium of partner universities, a program called "Joint Degree in English and American Studies" or JDEAS. This program is part of Paris Diderot's offer of Master's programs in English Studies. Students completing this program will receive both a Master’s degree from their entry university, and a Master Degree from their mobility university (provided it is a degree-awarding institution). A Joint Master certificate is also delivered by the consortium.
The consortium includes the following universities :

- Université Paris Diderot, Paris / France
- Jagiellonian University of Kraków / Poland
- University of Pécs / Hungary
- Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona / Spain
- The City College of New York / USA
This is a two-year program (M1 and M2), with a compulsory mobility semester (1st semester of the 2nd year) at one of the partner universities.

Application and selection process (during the final undergraduate year)
Applications are submitted during the final year of your undergraduate degree, both for the choice of an entrance university and for that of the mobility destination. This program is highly selective, requiring excellent academic records in English studies as well as a high score at the TOEFL or IELTS tests. The selection is made by the consortium, which will examine the applications submitted electronically.

Special procedure for students from outside the EU
Students from outside the EU who wish to apply to Paris Diderot as their home university for the JDEAS must also complete the national application process through Campus France

Paris Diderot requires an official certificate of French languague for all non-European applicants. The test will be required at the time when you apply for your student visa. See more information here:
