Modules in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and other languages

To prepare yourself for your mobility at Université de Paris, you can take a two-week intensive class in French (SILC) before the beginning of classes in September and January. The SILC course is worth 2 ECTS. Please note that the SILC will not be offered in September 2021.

During terms, modules in French as a Foreign Language (Français langue étrangère, FLE) are offered by the LANSAD programme, which is managed by the UFR EILA (Department of Applied Languages). Registration is done online after you take a test online to determine your level; to take the online test and register you need an ENT account (which you can create after you receive your Université de Paris student number).

Please note that LANSAD also offers modules in other languages (Spanish, Italian…). However, you may take only a maximum of 2 modules each term from the LANSAD programme: either two modules in FLE, or one module in FLE and one module in another foreign language.

All LANSAD modules are worth 3 ECTS

The LANSAD Department is located within the UFR EILA in bâtiment Olympe de Gouges, 8, place Paul Ricœur, Paris 13ème, 4th floor.
